Lisa Condit

Director of Marketing and PR
Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts

Tuesday, March 10, 2009

Lisa Condit has counseled FORTUNE 500, emerging growth, and non-profit organizations on the most effective means to communicate targeted messages to their shareholders, the media, and the financial community for over 15 years.  She has provided strategic and tactical marketing, PR, sales, and management expertise to a wide variety of organizations in the arts, education, high tech, health, and beauty industries with proven success in new product launches, brand management, new business development, media placement, negotiating contracts and building strategic alliances.

Prior to joining The Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts in November of 2007, Lisa owned and operated a full-service marketing and communications agency.  In addition, she has held the position of Vice President at Raising Change, LLC (Northampton), Vice President at Thompson Becker International (Foxboro, MA), Senior Marketing Manager at Paradise City, Inc. (Northampton, MA), and was the Regional Sales Manager for Business Wire (Boston, MA).

In addition to her corporate experience, Lisa has been an active participant and leader in civic organizations since she can remember.  As a high school sophomore, she was chosen to represent her school as an ambassador to the Hugh O’Brian Leadership Foundation’s (HOBY) state conference in Massachusetts.  The organization’s vision “to motivate and empower individuals to make a positive difference within our global society through understanding and action based on effective and compassionate leadership” provided a solid base for Lisa’s later activities, including leadership within the Massachusetts Chapter of HOBY, an executive board member for the Business Marketing Association, a founding board member of the Massachusetts Students Accepting Responsibility, and the Massachusetts Jaycees.

Within central Massachusetts, Lisa has chaired the Hardwick/New Braintree Cultural Council and was a vocal member of the Town Common Advisory Committee.  Lisa has also donated her time and talents to support the East Quabbin Land Trust, as well as the movement to protect the Quabbin Reservoir and its surrounding area.

Lisa currently lives in Hardwick, Massachusetts with her husband, daughter, and overgrown dogs.  In her spare time, she is the troop leader for the Central and Western MA Girl Scout Troop 30178 for her fourth year, and is in the midst of a major renovation of her home built in 1820.
