Andrea has produced four feature length films over the last eight years. "Rutland, USA," and "Freedom Park" were shot entirely in Massachusetts, primarily in Central, Massachusetts. Both films went on to win multiple festival awards and to have limited theatrical runs and regional DVD success in New England. "Still Green," a teen drama shot in Florida, won Best Ensemble at the 2007 Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, and Best Narrative Feature at the 2007 New England Film and Video Festival. It is currently being distributed by Osiris Entertainment, and is available on DVD nationwide at Hollywood Videos, and on Netflix, Amazon.com, Blockbuster.com, and more. Andrea co-hosts/produces the online episodic travel series about Worcester County, called Worcester Love, which has been honored multiple times by YouTube.com. The first season of the show was licensed by telegram.com and received over 200,000 combined views. Her recent feature length film, "Boyband: Breakin' Through in '82" was shot entirely in Worcester County during the summer of 2008 and stars Robert Hoffman (Step Up 2, Aliens in the Attic), Michael Copon (One Tree Hill, Scorpion King II), Ming Na (SGU Stargate Universe, ER, The Joy Luck Club), and Kurt Fuller (Ray, The Pursuit of Happiness, Alias), among others. The film is currently completing post-production. It is set at the fictional Worcester High School, and over 20 local actors became eligible to join the Screen Actors Guild due to their roles in the film. Andrea graduated from Elmira College with a degree in Individualized Studies in Public Relations and a Theater minor, and is a member of the Screen Actors Guild. Her passion is in promoting Central, Massachusetts through film and video, and providing opportunities for local artists to showcase their talents in film.
