Blogging to promote “wide open” communications
Presenter: Rich Marcello
Organizations, regardless if measured in tens, hundreds,
or thousands, work best when teams feel empowered. Executive blogging
creates a way to share thought process, inviting dialogue that’s non-hierarchical.
In today’s virtual world, where teams span continents, blogging lets
leaders share information that complements the usual top-down communications
with more informal conversations. Learn how open styles empower teams
in new ways.
9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
Using audio and video to deliver your message
online
Presenter: Claudia Snell
Pod casting and video casting are quickly becoming common
online communication tools. Learn what it means to be a content developer
(to do some production on your own) as well as how to effectively
work with production professionals.

Blogging as a Networking Tool
Presenter: Diane K.
Danielson
Social networks, blogging and other online endeavors are
changing how we network and do business. While online networking does not
replace in-person and face-to-face relationships, Diane will demonstrate
how it’s another tool to help build networks across geographic and
demographic borders. From basic online etiquette to how to build a
professional image on line, she looks at what’s “in” and what’s “out”
for networking in 2007.
