Community Outreach: Donations to be made to local charities
SPC will conduct its annual charity drive at its December 11, 2007 meeting.
Last year's focus was food donations for the Worcester County Food Bank and on a
clothing drive for Big Brothers/Big
Sisters of Central Mass. WCFB's Executive Director, Jean McMurray,
and Big Brothers/Big Sisters Executive Director, Ben Ticho, were on
hand to accept the donations. Each gave a 3-4 minute description of the
services their organizations provide, along with a warm thank you to
SPC. Both organizations accept donations year round. See their Web
sites for more information.
SPC expects a similar food and clothing drive this year.
