SPC meets each month September to May, usually at lunchtime, with an occasional late-afternoon workshop. Our annual meeting, held in May, is a dinner meeting.
We love to have guests! So if you're not a member, but would like to see what SPC is all about, come to one of our meetings and get acquainted.

John Carroll
John Carroll's imaginative and lively commentary on cultural, political, and social issues is heard on public radio and on WGBH television. The award-winning John Carroll is currently a panelist on Beat the Press, part of the WGBH program, Greater Boston. You may also have heard him on All Things Considered, Marketplace, and On the Media. Carroll is currently an Assistant Professor of Mass Communications at Boston University. He has been awarded the prestigious local and national Edward R. Murrow awards for Writing, in addition to a series of New England Emmy Awards in both News Writing and Commentary/Editorial categories.

Early Bird Membership Special: Become a paid SPC member for 2008-2009 by May 13 and take $5 off your membership dues--your $60 dues will be reduced to $55. In addition, any current nonmember signing up by May 13 may attend the annual meeting at the SPC member price of $25-a savings of $4.
