SPC Meetings
SPC meets regularly from September to May, usually on the second Tuesday of the month. The SPC conference is usually held in March or April, and our annual meeting in May.
SPC programs are open to the public; members are encouraged to bring guests! So if you're not a member, but would like to see what SPC is all about, please come to one of our meetings and get acquainted.

Putting Life Into Worcester Living
Have you ever wondered what goes into producing a magazine?
Come join editor Leah Lamson as she provides an insider’s view of how her team of talented writers and photographers create each issue of Worcester Living magazine.
Worcester Living, a regional lifestyle magazine published by the Telegram & Gazette, captures the many accomplishments and passions of individuals living in Central Massachusetts. Magazine stories cover topics such as travel & leisure, home & garden, fashion & beauty, food& wine and arts & culture.
Lamson has been in the newspaper business for more than 30 years. She has been managing editor at the Telegram & Gazette since 1986 and editor of Worcester Living since the magazine was launched in 2005. Lamson is a Central Massachusetts native and graduated from Simmons College in Boston.
In addition to Lamson’s talk, the annual Elaine Cencak Memorial scholarship will be presented to a student at a college or university in Worcester County that is majoring in a communications field.

Become a paid SPC member for 2009-10 by May 12 and take $5 off your membership dues (your $60 dues will be reduced to $55). In addition, any current nonmember signing up by May 13 may attend the annual meeting at the SPC member price of $25—a savings of $4. Download the SPC Membership Application.
