Sifleet, Esq., business attorney and certified public accountant, will give an update on Massachusetts law concerning classification of workers as contractors instead of employees, provide tips for protecting against business copycats, and answer questions in an open forum called, “Ask the Business Attorney.” Three-time entrepreneur Sifleet is head of the Business Practice Group of the Worcester-based law firm Hassett & Donnelly, PC, and the author of numerous articles and several books on business topics.

David Jacobs, business development manager for Office Depot, a leading global provider of office products and services, has worked in the office products industry for the past decade. Before that, he spent the majority of his working career in managerial positions in the hospitality industry, working for Sheraton Corporation and the 99 Restaurants. An active member of the Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce, he serves on the board of directors, as a Chamber Ambassador, a member of the Leads Referral Group, and director of the AppleFest Road Race. He holds a B.S. in hotel administration from the University of New Hampshire.
